Flower Girl Checklist
When your wedding day arrives, you will find that it is not nearly as relaxing as what you probably thought it would be. Mainly because this is the day when all of your carefully thought out plans come together for your wedding ceremony and reception party. In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the caterers, florists and other wedding professionals rushing around getting everything set up just right, you will have a number of other things to remember. This is also true for all of the people participating in your wedding, particularly your flower girl.
Flower girls are generally young (age 7 or younger) and therefore, they aren’t able to remember everything – and they shouldn’t be expected to. This is what their parents are for, but even their parents may forget something. Therefore, it’s a good idea to provide a flower girl checklist for the parents of your flower girl. This will help them remember everything they need to bring, and possibly, even things they may not have brought. Below are several items you should include on the flower girl checklist you prepare:
- Flower Girl Dress
- Shoes
- Hair Accessories
- Panty Hose/Tights (2 pairs are best)
- Hair Brush and Hair Spray
- Curling Iron/Flat Iron
- Jewelry
- Flower Basket (if in their possession)
- Snacks
- Books and quiet toys (depending on age of child)
- Clothing for rehearsal dinner (if they live out of town)
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
