Formal Girls’ Shoe Styles
Anyone who has lived with a girl or woman for any period of time knows how important shoes are. For most girls, an outfit is not completed until the perfect pair of shoes is found to go with it. This is why young girls and women have so many pairs of shoes! It’s not that they don’t have a pair of shoes to go with the new outfit, it’s that they need the perfect pair of shoes to go with it.
The fact that girls and women need so many pairs of shoes irritates many men, but a pair of shoes for a girl is like a new golf club, gun, hat, etc. is for a man…you can never have too many! The good news is that most men don’t have to worry about taking their daughters shopping for shoes, because moms naturally love to do this. However, there are many girls that come from broken homes where the father is the sole caretaker. If you are in this situation, you may not understand the world of shoes or how to even begin picking out the right pair of formal shoes for your daughter. Below are a few different formal girls’ shoes style options to choose from.
Strappy Sandals – If you have a young girl who is over the age of 5, then strappy sandals are a good option for spring and summer formal dresses. The only concern is whether or not your daughter is pretty steady on her feet. You don’t want to put a young girl in strappy sandals with heels if she is still in that awkward stage where she trips easily. However, there are many strappy sandal styles that have little to zero heel that compliment many formal girls’ dresses very well. Strappy sandals should only be worn during the spring and summer months when it’s warm.
Closed-Toe Dress Shoes – The great thing about closed-toe dress shoes is that this style is great for dresses, regardless of what season it is. You can find these shoes in a variety of colors and with a number of different features. For example, rhinestones, flowers, straps, and heels are all features you can choose with closed-toe dress shoes.
Infant High Heels – Believe it or not, they now make little, tiny high-heel shoes for infants. These tiny little shoes are soft, and since the infant is too little to walk they won’t injure their feet. So, just keep in mind if you buy a pair of these that you know their purpose is to complete your baby’s formal outfit…there is absolutely no support whatsoever in the heels and your little one should not be standing or walking in them.
